Links to Bands'/Artists' Pages

Quick Note: I'm not gonna list all the links to bands whose profiles are part of Cybergrass or Bluegrass Connection just so that this page will be long and impressive. Most of the better-known bands do have profiles on one or the other or both of these, so if you wanna see 'em, go to those places.

Alison Krauss & Union Station A site devoted to Alison and her music, created by a fan.

Dawgnet David Grisman's site.

Clyde Davenport Old time fiddler and banjo player. Page is interesting reading.
Badly Bent Third place at Winterhawk in '96...
Soul Tractor Colorado band with a very nicely done homepage.
Athens Grass An apparently progressive band from Athens, Georgia.

Banjo Dan and the Mid-nite Plowboys An unofficial homepage, very informative, and with low graphics. Some of you fans of other bands go see this one and then go do a page for your favorite band.

Brushfire An Atlanta area band.

BlueGrace is a Gospel Bluegrass band, and while their page is a little heavy on the message for my tastes in one or two places, but hey, it's their message... Otherwise, the page makes for interesting reading (the bass player's listed influences include "Steely Dan, the Yellowjackets, and a.m. talk radio,") and is nicely put together. Check it out.

The Bob Lewis Family Band Small page for Missouri band; includes a few sound clips.

The Grass is Greener (though surely no greener than the page.) Instrumental bluegrass band; mega-talent. The page is good if you're looking to order their recordings.

GRĘSSET GROR Small but enthusiastic homepage of Danish Bluegrass band.

High Desert Bluegrass Band from Tuscon Arizona. Not a lot on this page, but I suspect these folks are a lot of fun to pick with.

The Bluefields From the mountains of North Carolina (hey, we're neighbors... sort of.)
Too Far Gone Band from D.C area, no longer active.

Leftover Salmon I just happened to be eating leftover salmon when I spotted this page... hmmm. They are a "polyethnic slamgrass" band (okay, a fusion of progressive bluegrass, cajun, and probably a lot of fun) with a page that rated four stars from Magellan.

Butch Baldassari's Nashville Mandolin Network He's a helluva mandolin player.. and not a bad business man.

The Old School Arkansas band. This page made me smile.

Southern Rail
Columbia Bluegrass from the Northwest.
Cornerstone Take a moment to read the individual bio's for this band. Short, but brings a grin. I'd like to see more bands do things like this.
Waystation New England Bluegrass

Vintage Blend Maryland band.

Stringtown Boston area bluegrass band. Simple page, but I love their logo.

Taylor Family Bluegrass Band A page, a picture, a little information. But hey, at least it doesn't take long to load.
