Water Issues in the Middle East: Chellanges and Opportunities
The workshop was held at Read Theatre, Level 5, Sherfield Building Imperial College on the 11th December 1998. The workshop attracted lot of interest and attention (attended by more than 70 people), mostly engineering professionals from Sudan, the arab world as well as from the United Kindom.
The speakers were:
1- Prof. Tony Allan (SOAS), expert in water issues in the Middle East and North Africa.
2- Charted Eng. Taysir Dabbagh, Consultant of water manegment in Arab World.
While Prof. Antwan Zahlan chaired the seminar.
