accomplished extraordinary voyages that challenges their skills as
well as boats.

history of legendary small boat voyaging, by person, from Slocum on down to the 1970s. Profiles Slocum, the Hiscocks,
Smeetons, Moitessier, Tabarly, etc. etc. Worth a read, but long.

This is Stuart Sarjeant's web sites dedicated to Tristan Jones and his works. Jones is one of the best-known small boat sailors of our times. In the book "The Incredible Voyage" Jones found himself "a thousand times beyond the limits of endurance" in his attempt to sail a small craft on the lowest body of water in the world to the highest.
