The Greek Isles

I went on a cruise of the Greek Isles December 20-28, 1996. My favorite parts were walking around the beautiful scenic fishing village of Gythion (pictured here),

hiking the ruins of Ephesus and exploring the ancient part of the city of Rhodes. My suggestion to others traveling in the Greek Isles is to not necessarily sign up for the tours offered by your cruise company (when they are not included in your cruise cost), but ask the cab drivers in the ports what they can offer you and for how much. Some of our cruise mates had wonderful land tours that included much more for a fraction of the price the cruise company charged.
