Las Vegas, Nevada

In October and November 1997, November 1998, January 1999, and January 2000, I went to Las Vegas. I highly recommend two wonderful buffets--the Main Street Station, downtown, and the Rio Carnival World Buffet, just off the strip. They both have a terrific variety of foods, and everything tastes delicious and very fresh. For some spectacular scenery and easy hiking, I recommend the Valley of Fire, about an hour and a half northeast of Las Vegas.
