Tom grew up in NJ. He attended The Peddie School, and graduated from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA in 1986 and University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill in 1991.
Susan grew up in Missouri, her maiden name is McKinney. She attended Knob Noster High School, and graduated from East Carolina University in Greenville, NC in 1989 and University of Phoenix in 2002.
Both Tom and Susan work for IBM Corporation in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina.
