A region to discover

Nestled on the south side of the Montagne Noire, the end of the Massif Central, with its chestnut trees and firs, Cuxac-Cabardès offers you an ideal base to explore the region, particularly in the summertime, when it is very hot in Carcassonne, and cooler at 450 meters height. The climate is mediterranean, but also continental : we are on the verge of both climates, which gives us interesting and often changing landscapes. The people in our region talk about a "resumé of France" : the sea, the mountains, the arid landscapes with its olive trees, the vineyards and the typical mountain trees : you've got it all in one place.
