My Passion for travel

Every time there is enough money in the bank, it has to be exhausted soon. I have travelled extensively in the US and Canada (including visits to half-a-dozen national parks), Kenya, Tanzania (Oh!Ngorongoro!), Seychelles, Far East, Continental Europe (including schizophrenic Turkey) and quite a bit of India.

I focus on budget trips, with an accent on nature - hiking, camping and the like. I am a member of the WWF - World Wide Fund for Nature and go on trips with them.

Don't miss Ladakh

Those who want the time of their lives should not miss out on Ladakh, India. At an average height of over 11,000 feet above sea level and no tourists at all, Ladakh inspires you with its breathtaking panoramas, the raging Indus river (where you can river-raft), Tibetan monasteries clinging precariously to craggy cliffs and a multitude of trekking trails and photo opportunities.
