Recipe for Ginger Beer

Ingredients:

Procedure:

  1. Wash and pound ginger and add boiling water.
  2. Add juice and rind of limes and cream of tartar. Then cover but stir frequently.
  3. When lukewarm (tepid), add yeast dissolved in a little water.
  4. Mix well, cover, and leave to stand for six (6) hours.
  5. Sweeten and bottle.
