Gozo recommended Restaurants:

Martin’s diner - Mgarr Road, Nadur - In front of the Nadur football ground

Specializes in home-made cooking & a unique (free) wine !!

How to get there:

After landing at Gozo, follow the sign which says "Grand Hotel" (another recommended property !). This is only some 500m from the ferry. Go straight past the hotel; on your left-hand side you will eventually see a WW1 unexploded bomb on display on the pavement, and then a small church. The road then joins a main street - turn left for 3 metres and then right, up the hill. Martin's is about two-thirds of the way up the hill. I'm sure that if you mention that his restaurant was recommended on the internet he wouldn't have the foggiest idea what you were talking about !!!

Jessica’s Delights – Valley Road, Marsalforn – near Marsalforn car park

Excellent home-made desserts at very reasonable prices !!

How to get there:

As you enter Marsalforn, you come to a roundabout just before the Marsalforn hotel (NOT a recommended property !!).

At this roundabout, turn right towards the car park. At the bottom of the small hill, there is a canal or water to flow through.

Follow the canal for some 20 meters towards the bay. Don’t be fooled by the appearance of this dolceria from the outside …!

Stone Crab – Xlendi Bay

Excellent choice, including Pizza.

How to get there:

As you enter Xlendi bay, keep to the right. The road ends right on the beach. Walk by the water to the right. The restaurant is the last building, right by the water’s edge.

Il Kartell – Marsalforn bay

Very good food & service, also including pizza.

How to get there:

As you face the water in Marsalforn, walk to the extreme left of the bay. The restaurant is right by the water’s edge.
