  • Two years of dedicated work as assistant editor for school newspaper, developing skills in the production of a weekly newspaper and meeting weekly deadlines.

  • Promoted and directed a volleyball tournament in association with Offshore Surf Shop in West Bend, WI. Organized sponsors such as Redsand and Molten, teams and fees, and the location for 40 teams.

  • Have done freelance work for various companies and clubs such as Calbee, Kesinee Interneational School, AWARE, Graduation Ball Promotions, Sigma Tau Delta, and others.

  • Have promoted activities on own initiative such as dance parties, coffee shops, and group trips.

Responsibilities:  Develop a site plan and prototype for development of the travelguide.com website and supporting database.  Having worked daily with travel related information, I have a good understanding of the leisure travel market, especially in Thailand. I monitor the Internet daily for benchmarking examples, web demographics and new technologies. The position makes use of design, technical and business experience.
Technologies used: MS FrontPage, Photoshop.

GemKey (Thailand) Co, Ltd. Silom Rd, Bangkok   9/97 to 4/99.
Advisors: Wadih Sagheih
    Responsibilities: Work in site development as a project leader conceptualizing site navigation, layout and user interface. Upon layout completion, I work closely with programmers and designers to create the site.  Also prepared site, promotional and support material.
    Sites that I have conceptualized and developed: www.pizzacorner.com, www.webstudio-1.com, www.gkstudio.com and front-page concepts for www.gemkey.com.
    Platforms we use are: SQL server, IIS server, NT server, and Intershop server.

Responsibilities: Graphic Designer. Advertisement designs using QuarkExpress, Adobe Photoshop, and Negative slide scanner. Built ads on a daily basis and some color feature pages. Used Macintosh network.

Responsibilities: Layout and design of page 1 and 4. Also: ad design, maintain Macintosh system, photo scanning and manipulation, story ideas, 50 question survey, editorial content, graphs with Adobe Illustrator, and redesign of front page. Assisiant Editor for 1 year. Equipment used are 3 Macintosh computers on an Ether Talk network, Selectpress 1200 dpi printer, and Microteck Scanmaker.

  •  Well traveled in the U.S. and have traveled to several countries.

  • Traveled and studied Thailand and it's culture for over two years.
