This Psychology student at the University of Illinois decides to conduct an experiment. She has a spare apartment and decides to rent it out to a carpenter her age. Now; that's not the experiment. What she starts doing is harassing the student - playing loud music at random times duting the night, having loud sex when he is trying to concentrate, playing with the hot water while he is in the shower and so on.

So one day, this carpenter snaps (which is apparently what the psyche student is waiting for) and breaks through the apartment wall with an axe and beheads her (which is not the reaction she was going for). The carpenter then proceeds to snap back into reality, realizes what he has done and then burns the apartment and the building that it's in to the ground. The student's notes and plans were lost with the fire and no one to this days knows what she was trying to prove.
