California is a place rich in history and natural beauty. The
Spanish Missions of California are
important parts of our cultural heritage. The missions have had an enormous influence on California,
from their architecture to their economic impact. It seems surprising that despite its location and huge
natural resources, California was colonized very late. The
murals of Los Angeles are a
fascinating form of public art in our generation. The murals were styled on the work of the Mexican
muralists and originally served more revolutionary needs. |
