Enquiring Minds Want To Know!

People have been sending me email and actually asking questions! I thought it might be cute to post some of them here for everyone to read.

Why do you volunteer as an Auxiliary Cop?

People in a community volunteer their time to make their community a better place to live and visit. I volunteer my time for these same reasons, except I have chosen to do it with a Police Service.

I am interested in becoming an Auxiliary Constable with the Ontario Provincial Police. Could you provide me with more information?

I am pleased to say the OPP Auxiliary have their own website and it can be found by surfing to the Ontario Provincial Police website and selecting "Auxiliary Info". If you still have questions after viewing this site, please send an email requesting more information to the webmaster from the OPP website (instructions are on the Auxiliary website).

Are you married?

Yes, I've been happily married to Léo since 1975 and we have two great kids - Leo Jr., 21, and Jessie-Lynne, 17.

Why Fiji?

Why not? It is warm, scenic and friendly. Just a dream and we ALL need dreams. ;-)

Do you really like pizza enough to open up Fiji Pizza?

I enjoy pizza, especially vegetarian, but opening up Fiji Pizza is also part of The Fantasy (sigh).

Where did you find the information to do your Home Page?

Geocities provides a great HTML Editor online where you can just fill in the blanks. Other residents of the neighbourhood also volunteer their expertise to help newbies like me! The WWW is also full of information about HTML and can be found by doing a search on HTML using your favorite search engine.

Have you been on the WWW long?

Approximately four years now and I still believe it is one of the best resources we have.

Do you live in an igloo?

This really is funny ! No, I don't live in an igloo. It gets cold here in the Winter and we do get alot of snow, but we have homes just like everyone else. You can compare our weather to yours by checking out The Weather Network.

My brother, Michael, wants to know what the people from Fiji are called.

Well, Michael, after some really great investigative work on my behalf and an exhausting search through the "Fiji Files", I am pleased to tell you that people from Fiji are called FIJIANS.

Do you have any hobbies?

I collect and like to read - anything from Patricia Cornwell to Stephen King. I also enjoy boating with my family and friends. It gets me outside, although it does make the summer go by way too fast. My husband especially enjoys boating.
