Celebration

Celebration is a beautiful town that was built by the Celebration Company, a division of The Walt Disney Company. The town has a colourful and relaxing downtown, a large residential district, a state of the art school and teaching academy, health center, and even a family golf course, which all add to the feeling of community and togetherness. The downtown core has quaint clothing stores, a nice book and gift store, tempting restaurants and ice cream parlour, a large AMC theatre, an olf-fashioned type grocery store, and more all arranged around or near a large lake perfect for boating. Many famous architects have come together to create Celebration and to make it very pleasing to the eye, plus to have it make sense. There's a total of six different styles of homes: Classical, Coastal, Colonial Revival, French, Mediterranean and Victorian. With welcoming front porches, balconys, and large green lawns your home becomes more than just a place to sleep and eat. Another great thing about Celebration, is it's technology. Residents with computers can log on to the Celebration Community Network to send E-mail to neighbours, to post a message on the neighbourhood bulletin board, to have a live chat with other residents, to find out about activities in town, to connect to the resources of the school, Celebration Health, and any number of shops and businesses, or simply to connect to the internet. So, the next time your at Walt Disney World, take a short drive over to the town that Disney built.

Interesting and little known facts

-while Walt Disney was planning Walt Disney World, he had a city in mind, where everything would be dedicated to the happiness of the people who lived, worked, and played there, and he called that planned city EPCOT (Experimental Prototype Community Of Tomorrow)!
