China
The beautiful serenity of China comes to America in Epcot's China pavilion. Everything from the traditional Chinese music playing over the sound system to the beautiful landscaping conspire to create a peaceful and calming atmosphere. After passing through the graceful Ceremonial Gate of the Golden Sun at the entrance, guests first see a stunningly-detailed replica of the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvest, built in Beijing during the Ming Dynasty. The main attraction in China is a 360° film called Wonders of China: Land of Beauty, Land of Time. This 19-minute film shows many awe-inspiring sites in China, including the enchanting Shilin Stone Forest, the majestic Forbidden City, the wondrous Great Wall of China, the vast expanse of Mongolia, and much, much, more. The only shop at the China pavilion is a large emporium called Yong Fen Shangdian. It sells clothing, prints, tea, toys, trinkets, antiques, and so much more. The restaurants in the China pavilion are the Lotus Blossom Café, and Nine Dragons. They serve a wide assortment of Chinese cuisine.
