Universe of Energy
Inside Universe of Energy, is an entertaining show called "Ellen's Energy Crisis". The show starts with a film in which guests see Ellen DeGeneres watching Jeopardy on television. One of the contestants on the show is her old college roomate, Judy (played by Jamie Lee Curtis), who is getting everything right. Meanwhile, Ellen is getting all the questions, which are mostly about energy, wrong. Her neighbour, Bill Nye the Science Guy, comes over to borrow something and is aghast at her ignorance. When Bill leaves, Ellen falls asleep and dreams that she is a contestant on Jeopardy. She's competing against Judy and Albert Einstein, and all the questions are about energy. By the first commercial break, Ellen has a negative score. During the commercial, Bill Nye shows up, and offers to teach Ellen about energy. Guests then move into a large room, and sit down, and the film resumes. Bill Nye takes Ellen back in time to see exactly where some of our energy sources came from. After witnessing the "Big Bang", we travel forward in time to the dinosaurs. Suddenly, the whole seating area rotates, breaks up into six sections, and moves forward into a world of huge Audio-Animatronic dinosaurs wallowing in a lagoon, fighting with each other, and spitting at guests! While passing through this amazing world, guests come upon an amazingly realistic Audio-Animatronic Ellen who is trying to defend herself from an angry snake-like dinosaur. After the dinosaur area, guests are presented with another film teaching them and Ellen more about energy. At the end of the show, Ellen goes back to Jeopardy, and wins the game!
