Legend of the Lion King

Legend of the Lion King is a beautiful show featuring puppets, animation, and in-theatre effects. Before the show starts guests are presented with a pre-show wherein they meet Rafiki, the narrator, and see a clip from the beginning of the movie "The Lion King". Guests then move into the main theatre where the show is brought to life using very realistic puppets and beautiful sets. The scenes in the show are basically the same as the movie, including the exhilarating wildebeest stampede which uses animation from the film to make the scene just as thrilling and emotionally heart-wrenching. Along with the familiar characters from the movie, the show also borrows many of the movie's memorable songs, including "Circle of Life", "I Can't Wait to be King", "Hakuna Matata", and "Can You Feel the Love Tonight?". Be forewarned that if your feet are tired and you would like to sit down, this is not the attraction for you, since along with waiting for awhile outside the attraction, the pre-show is lengthy and does not have seats.

Interesting and little known facts

-the complex puppets used in the show are actually human-controlled!
-some of the puppets need up to four people to operate their mouths, heads, feet, and ears!
