Sounds Dangerous

Sounds Dangerous is a unique show designed to be heard, not seen, taking your ears on a wild adventure. Guests enter a television soundstage, and after being seated, put on a pair of headphones and the show begins. Guests are getting a preview of a pretend show called Undercover Live, in which a real undercover detective (played by Drew Carey) solves cases on live TV! The show begins with both picture and sound, but as Drew is investigating a suspicious warehouse for smuggled diamonds, he gets spooked by a security guard and hides his spy camera in his mouth, shorting out the video feed. The audio is still working perfectly though, so we continue listening in on his misadventures. In his search for the leader of the diamond smugglers, we follow Drew through a barber shop for a close shave, a room full of swarming, angry bees, and a circus, where Drew is strapped to a spinning wheel while a performer throws knives at him. You have to hear to believe it. Presented in the highest-quality stereo, it sends shivers down your spine. When the show is over guests enter an exhibit on sound effects. One activity even lets you dub your voice over a Disney character.

Interesting and little known facts

-So that guests would hear exactly what Drew Carey was hearing, he wore tiny microphones on his ears!
-The sound equipment used to record the show was so powerful that it could pick up the rumbling of an elephant's heart beat from the across the room!
