The United Kingdom pavilion is a beautiful area full of architectural styles that will remind you of such Disney films as "Robin Hood", "Peter Pan", "The Great Mouse Detective", "101 Dalmatians", Mary Poppins", and "The Adventure's of Mr. Toad", since they were all set in England. There are scarlet phone booths, thatched roofs, even a traditional English hedge maze. There isn't really any main attraction at the United Kingdom pavilion; although the variety of fine shops make up for this. The shops are: The Toy Soldier, The Crown & Crest, Pringle of Scotland, The Queen's Table, The Magic of Wales, and The Tea Caddy; and they are all a delight to browse through. They sell toys, chess sets, "pub mugs", wool clothing, china, Royal Doulton figurines, jewelry, pottery, tea, snacks, etc. The Tea Caddy shop is made to resemble the Stratford-upon-Avon cottage of William Shakespeare's wife, Anne Hathaway. The only restaurant at the United Kingdom pavilion is the Rose & Crown Pub, where you can get delicious fish & chips, roast beef, lamb, prime rib, and British beers, with a good view of the lagoon and, at night, Illuminations.
Interesting and little known facts
-the thatched roofs are actually made out of plastic broom bristles because real thatch would be a fire hazard!
