Bloke!

Ian just rang me up from New Delhi!! If you want to contact him you can phone in the next hour on 0091 11752 4644 or you can also fax on that number up until early July (he'll be going back there in between trips).

Brief summary of some parts of the call...

At the time he rang it was absolutely CANING it down with rain, I could here it in the background and it was raining so hard that apparently things were started to break up (bit's of metal falling off buildings etc)!

Yesterday if was 43 dC, even the Indians were walking around saying things like "bugger me it's hot".

Goa was ablsolutely brilliant. Bhopal not so good - everyone was really nasty apparently. They went to Union Carbide to have a look at the factory and the monument to the dead (apparently 2000 people died the night of the disaster and 6000 people were affected - some of them dying because of it). While they were there the taxi driver took them on a completely un-necessarily long route which they complained about then refused to pay the fare, the driver wasn't happy and argued so they went to the police who then set a lower fare for them to pay. Ian still thought it was too high so said "right, we'll go to the transport police then" - so they lowered it some more and everything was good!

Other news - at the end of the month/early July Emma is flying straight to Australia and missing out Nepal, Thailand etc. She's tired of all the travelling and wants a rest apparently. Ian wants to meet up with Murton again as soon as poss, so if Murton's reading this then fax Ian on the above number and arrange something!

That's about all I can remember, so get ringing or faxing!
