Well here I am sitting on the side of the road trying to hitch to Mozambique. Bugger, would you believe it, I have just sat down and it has started spitting - arse!!
I am now of the back of a pickup heading East to meet Ian and Emma at the border tomorrow. Just had dinner which was a couple of banana’s (2.5p each from a woman on the side of the road) and a couple of scones (expensive at 11p each).
**Then he drew a couple of things that he has eaten recently. A caterpillar which apparently tastes like straw, and a small dried bird, which tastes like chicken (doesn’t everything foreign)**
In answer to your comment about travelling across continents and arriving on time - it doesn’t always go according to plan (missed a bus or two, post office closed, that sort of thing, usually it is due to "Shall we have a cup of tea?"!!!!).

Now in Mutare (?) and we ARE going to Mozambique tomorrow. Spoke to two Japanese who have just been to Mozambique and also a Mozambian couple today and they just kept saying how hard, backward, poor, dodgy and beautiful the country is. Well I will let you know when I get out the other side.
