Letter from Martin in Kenya to Dave & Mandy

Hi Dave & Mandy

...India is now turning into a tour of cities with the best weather - the idea being to only hit those places with a temp (ave max) of below 40 dC & with a rainfall of less than 100mm ave a day - some of them hit 700mm a day!!! I'll be heading straight to Delhi to spend a couple of weeks. Nathan (bloke we spent a lot of time travelling in the Middle East with) is arriving on 5th May. Then before that on the 2nd Angela a girl who I/we travelled with in S.A. arrives. And to top it all my cousin Andrew (who has now spoken to Nathan a fair bit) turns up about the 7th!!! Funny how people say they might join up but you don't hold them to it (something I've learnt from other travellers) & all of a sudden they start turning up. After this Heather & Sally are now booking to come to Singapore & Bali & in Oz about 10 people are planning to come out (including some family) & these are the type of people who probably will.

...Thanks for your letter in Nairobi too. It is FAN BLOODY TASTIC getting post from home. I haven't yet picked out poste restante (or AMEX who keep it longer) addresses in India yet. I will be in Delhi (poste restante NEW Delhi) until about 20 something of May so that's probably not too much use. I will definately be in KATMANDU, NEPAL in about two months. When I've sorted out addresses I'll let you have them - it would be good if you could stick them on the Web page actually.
