Images of Botswana
| I took the photos you see below with a Kodak digital camera during my trip to Botswana in August 2000. Two friends, Paul Horlacher and his son Ben, accompanied me on this trip to the interior of the Kalahari. We visited Maun on the south side of the Okavango Delta in northwestern Botswana. The Okavango is an oasis in the midst of a sea of sand. Then we traveled north to the Moremi Game reserve. The Kalahari lies just a few dozen miles south of the area you see in the Moremi photos below. Later we traveled to Kasane in the northeast. |
