A Ministry to Missionaries by Coopération et Documentation Missionnaires

We now manage two mission Guest Houses in Abidjan using large buildings with
about 65 bed places intended primarily for missionaries, pastors and church groups.

• We offer pleasant rooms with breezy balconies or terraces where you can

rest and read. You may like to relax on the garden terrace of Guest House #1,
but please do not disturb the pre-school activities.
• Supermarkets, large shopping mall, hamburgers, bakery, pastry shop and

ice-cream parlors are close by, and a variety of street food is available.
• No transport problems. There are taxis, buses and woro-woros (= local taxis).
• International phone calls can be made at Guest House #1 close to GH2.
• We employ a qualified and experienced chef for meals in Guest House #1.
• Guest House #2 is equipped for missionary self-catering but a breakfast service

is available (continental, with omelette and/or oatmeal as extras).
• Coca-Cola, Pepsi and other soft drinks are available as desired. A range of

groceries is available in GH2 on an honesty basis.
• A full meal service is available only in GH1. (Especially useful for sick or resting

missionaries.) For breakfast and these meals, a service charge applies of
500FCFA (approx. $1) per person per DAY.
• Unique in Mission Guest Houses! Missionary “Naughty Weekend” Offer.

Couple comes Friday p.m. for the evening meal, leaves Sunday p.m.
All meals are served in your room or on balcony. Get away from it all!
No children, no work, no computer! All-inclusive price for couple:
45.000FCFA for the weekend. (ONE day couple's offer: 25.000FCFA.)
Available at GH1 only.
 
 
AIR-CONDITIONERS
The air-conditioner use charge in both Guest Houses is normally 400FCFA/hr
per ROOM or 4500F for a block of 12 hours.
Please note carefully for us the number of hours of your air-conditioner use.
Otherwise we foresee in our Guest Rates special room rates which include
air-conditioner use.
 

GUEST RATES per person ($US1 = approx. 700FCFA):
Children - Sorry. Normally no reduction possible (except perhaps for infants).

Missionaries/Pastors:

Guest House 1:  5.000 FCFA per person per night + air-con. charges (see above)
or 10.000 F one person, 14.000 F double INCLUDING air-conditioner use,
or 18.000 F for three people INCLUDING air-conditioner use.
Max. Missionary Family Rate: 25.000F per large room incl. air-conditioner.
Guest House 2:  3.000 or 4000 FCFA /person /night + air-conditioner charges
or 8.000 F one person, 12.000 F double INCLUDING air-conditioner use,
or 16.000 F for three people INCLUDING air-conditioner use,
or 18.000 F for four people INCLUDING air-conditioner use.
 
NGOs/Non-Mission/Mission Admin.:
Guest House 1:  10.000 FCFA per person per night + air-conditioner charges
or 14.000 F one person, 20.000 F double INCLUDING air-conditioner use,
or 26.000 F for three people INCLUDING air-conditioner use,
or 30.000 F for four people INCLUDING air-conditioner use.
Guest House 2:  6.000 or 8.000 FCFA /person /night + air-conditioner charges
or 12.000 F one person, 16.000 F double INCLUDING air-conditioner use,
or 20.000 F for three people INCLUDING air-conditioner use,
or 24.000 F for four people INCLUDING air-conditioner use.
GH2 Better rooms:  8.000 FCFA one person per night, or 16.000 F double.
United Nations agencies rates:  16.000 FCFA one person per night, or 20.000 F double.
 
N.B. An additional Linen Charge (bed linen, towel) applies at both Guest Houses:
500F per person. (This covers 1-7 days.)
 
Laundry can be done for guests for 1200F per load for washing or ironing.
 
MEALS
Meals are available only for guests at GH1 (but breakfast is served at GH2)
• Breakfast: 1.500 FCFA (Continental)
• Full Breakfast (with omelette or scrambled eggs): 2.250 FCFA
• Light Meal Lunch/Supper: 3.000 FCFA
• 3 Course Lunch/Supper: 3.500 FCFA (with coffee or tea if desired)
The Meal Service charge is 500 FCFA per person per day in both houses.
Missionary Couple’s Offer GH1: 25.000 FCFA all-inclusive (24h, all meals on balcony)
or couple’s WEEKEND Get-Away Offer 45.000 FCFA (48h, with all meals on balcony).

(which can avoid problems with Abidjan taxis, etc.),
