Mission

The mission of the Philadelphia Area Peace Corps Association is to fulfill the third goal of the Peace Corps: to bring the world back home. It also serves as a focus for Peace Corps volunteers in the Philadelphia region who feel that their Peace Corps experience lasts a lifetime.

Inside Bosnia

(Note: PAPCA President Susanne Cooper was one of 60 RPCVs selected to serve as election supervisors in Bosnia last fall, after referral from the NPCA Emergency Data Bank. She expects to return for the future municipal elections. Other area RPCVs participating included Frank Orban of Lancaster, and Al Kueppers of Bryn Mawr.) The RPCVs were part of an international group under contract with the Organization for Security & Cooperation in Europe (OSCE).
