Salaam,
After my first week I feel.... well....I guess it will be OK. Nothing EVER goes as planned. It seems like this country is a practice in slothishness. Everyone says things may or may not happen N'Sha'ala (If Allah wills) about EVERYTHING!!!!! It is easy for me to fall into this attitude, as I am a truly southern California boy, I'm not complaining at all.

I am hoping to move into an apt that is closer to my university (and the beach). I'm meeting someone today to take a look at a place. We'll see.

I am scarfing up books left and right. There isn't alot for me to do here. I can't seem to find a guitar. I want one desperately and all there are are glorified ukeleles here. I wish I would have brought my guitar with me.
