Cycling

South Donegals has lots of small, winding road which offer spectacular views around every corner and are ideal for cycling - the perfect way to discover Ireland!

Surfing

Rossnowlagh has some of the best surfing in the world and the European Championships have been held here a number of times. Even the non-surfer can only marvel at the spectacular waves crashing on the Atlantic shoreline.

Shopping

See craftspeople at work producing traditional Irish crafts or sample the delights of browsing through some of the region's delightful shops and stores filled with not only locally produced handiwork but also a range of modern international fashions and designs.

Horse Riding

There are a number of horse-riding and trekking centres in teh Doengal area where you can enjoy an afternoon on horse-back, riding through some of Ireland's most glorious scenery.

Swimming

Rossnowlagh's EU Blue Flag beach allows you to swim in complete safety in some of the cleanest waters in the world. Afterwards, you can relax on the golden sands of one of Ireland's most famous beaches.

Pubs & Nightlife

Ireland is rightly renowned for its vibrant pub entertainment and nightlife. It is in the local hostelries that you will experience the true culture and friendliness of Ireland. Sit back and enjoy the traditional music and 'craic' while you sip a pint of Guinness.

Angling

Fine angling in the innumerable unspoiled lakes and rivers of the North-West of Ireland will give you an experience to remember. Deep sea angling is also available.
