Cycling South Donegals has lots of small, winding road which offer spectacular views around every corner and are ideal for cycling - the perfect way to discover Ireland! Surfing Rossnowlagh has some of the best surfing in the world and the European Championships have been held here a number of times. Even the non-surfer can only marvel at the spectacular waves crashing on the Atlantic shoreline. Horse Riding There are a number of horse-riding and trekking centres in teh Doengal area where you can enjoy an afternoon on horse-back, riding through some of Ireland's most glorious scenery. Swimming Rossnowlagh's EU Blue Flag beach allows you to swim in complete safety in some of the cleanest waters in the world. Afterwards, you can relax on the golden sands of one of Ireland's most famous beaches. |
