American 4th of July
We went to the American Embassy on July 3rd for the flag raising ceremony. It was a very moving event with lots of Americans, hot chocolate, cookies and patriotic songs.

For Thanksgiving we were able to purchase a ready cooked turkey dinner, made available to the American community, but the holiday isn't celebrated here. We were looking forward to celebrating Christmas Eve with Mónica and her family. To see why we couldn't, go to my new page Christmas Vacation? |
