Margy and Artie

We both went skiing at Valle Nevado soon after Artie's reintroduction to skiing.

After over 30 years, it was an adventure to try it again.

We picked the most perfect day and went with Mónica and her son and daughter.

moon over the mountains   After we finished our day of skiing we noticed the nearly full moon rise over the mountains.

We enjoyed a beautiful sunset as we navigated the more than 49 hairpin curves on the way back to Santiago.

Margy bundled up   It was a lot colder the next time we tried skiing. This was taken on the 3rd of September at El Colorado. We lasted through a one hour lesson and another 30 minutes (to get back down to the lodge) before heading back to Santiago. The weather brought back memories of winter in upstate New York, but not in early September!

I sat snug in Artie's 4x4 while he got out to take this picture as a snow squal approached. Brrr! In the background is the haze under which Santiago lies.
