Greetings from Cullen World!

The purpose of this page is to acquaint the visitor with the various people and places that have shaped the world I live in.  The story starts on 17 May, 1970 in historic Springfield, MA, home of the Basketball Hall of Fame.

The majority of the time was spent growing up in Sturbridge, a bed room community in south-central Massachusetts.  Sturbridge is home to nationally famous Old Sturbridge Village, an out-door, living museum focusing on rural life in early nineteenth-century New England.  I received my bachelor's degree in history from U-Mass/Amherst in 1993.  I received a second degree in travel & tourism from Becker College in Leicester in 1995.

I've been living in Waltham, MA for almost four years.  Waltham, or theWatch City as it's known to the natives, is a small city about 20 miles west of Boston.  Waltham is famous for being the birth place of the American industrial revolution.  For more information on Waltham's industrial heyday one can visit the Charles River Museum of Industry. There, one can find many exhibits pertaining to the many industrial milestones which occurred in Waltham.  Also included is a collection devoted to the Waltham Watch Company, which contributed to Waltham's nick-name.

I'm currently employed as a travel agent at Oriental Tours and Travel or OTT Travel Management.  I primarily work the corporate end of the travel business but I welcome inquiries and sales from family, friends as well as perfect strangers.

I hope you enjoy the many cool sites that I've collected as well as the pages that I've helped to create.  Have fun and come back soon.

Sincerely,

Cullen Castendyk
