This is alongside the Maekhong River in the municipal area, and gives a good view across the river to the province of Tha Khaek. It’s an ideal viewpoint to observe the mountains of Laos, especially in the early morning when the sun rises above the mountains. Terdprakiat Park and Strand This area is adjacent to the Maekhong River. During the summer month of February to April the water level drops to reveal a stretch of unspoilt sand that extends almost to the Lao side of the river . It’s an ideal picnic area. Dansaocoi (Na Kae): Dansaocoi (Na Kae), 6 kms. from Na Kae, consists of flat rock on a mountain which has few trees and gives a panoramic view across Prathad Phanom and Nong Han district of Sakon Nakhon.
