Epiphytic Orchids

The epiphytic orchids have one most outstanding characeristics which is the ability to grow on the bark of the prennial tree trunk in the forest. Their remarkable roots are as though designed to only consume water and minerals washed away from rain or the humidity in the air. There fore, they should not be mistaken for being like the parasitic plants.
