Preface
            Among the flowering plans of more than 250,000 species, the orchids family has been considered to be the largest, covering more than 25,000 specie. Under any conditions, orchids are able to grow everywhere, from the snow-covered areas of Europe and Asia to the deadly deserts of America. Also, an abundance of orchids can be found in the tropical rain forests floor near the equator. Their various characteristics can be detected as terrestrial orchids, secretly hidden in the forests or as epiphytic orchids have very mysterious cycle of life by living underground with only the appearance of their flowers as the indication of their existence.

            With the differences in their characteristics,including the ability to spread their tribes, it is evident that orchids carry the most evolution in the plant kingdom. Their ability of adaptation to survive all obstacles has been outstanding when  compared to other types of plants which are now extincted.

            Therefore, it should be stated that orchids are the best representatives of the amazing plant kingdom. As long as the orchids are still in existence, this world will eventually become a heavenly land for other beings as well.

            The reputation of Thailand as land of the orchids has been related to the geographical conditions of their habitats in our forests. Also renowned as the house of various tropical plants, it   is found that  orchids are available in Thailand at the amount of 1,150 species from more than 160 genera.

            For the use of education, scientific research and the future of Thailand's economic, it is obvious that those existed species of Thailand's orchids should be preserved as the kingdom natural legacy.

            However,it is also evident that the habitats of these orchids in Thailand are being slowly destroyed thus rendering the extinction to the most treasured orchids. Therefore, in order to acquaint the people to realize the value of these natural treasures, the representation of the amazement  in the orchid world has been produced. In fact, the orchids portrayed in this memorandum are the symbolization of other floras which have been creating heaven on earth.
