 Taman Negara, one of the most popular national park in West
Malaysia. It is believe to be the oldest tropical rainforest in the world. After reading
some brochures about the park, immediately I know that this is a place that not to be
miss. The next thing I know is I am on my way to discover the nature and beauty of the
park. My younger sister, Swee Lin and I went there on 13/4/2001. We started our journey
from Penang and spent 2 days there.If you like trees, river, animals, insects, birds and jungle, then this would be a place for you. It's really a great place to clear your mind from your hectic work schedule. Well it does work for me :) What activities can you do? You can enjoy the boat ride up stream, hiking, jungle trekking, cave exploration, fishing, rapid shooting, and even pay a visit to the aborigine settlement.
