Greg, the rebellious Brady

This bunnylion I drew has absolutly nothing to do with this page

Most people rememeber Greg on the Brady Bunch. Greg was the same age as Marcia on the show, and most people thought that he was a role model for his younger siblings and step siblings. But most people only saw the goodie-goodie side of Greg. Here is what I saw in Greg:

Greg was an extremely bossy individual. Greg never did what other people told him to do and he didn't hesitate to boss the other Bradies around. The producers became very upset with Greg's stubborn attitude and that only made Greg more and more rebellious. To irritate the producers, he did destructive things on the show. He did evil things to, purposely get fired from the The Brady Bunch show. He tried to drop out of high school (episode 36, The Dropout), started smoking onset, (episode 41, Where there's smoke, there's fire.)almost got into a huge accident on the freeway,(episode 89, Greg gets Grounded) and, as the title says, got grounded for it. The last destructive thing he did was steal the school mascot from a rivial team (Raquel the goat) and hide it in his room (episode 101, Greg gets a goat).

His apperance in later episodes also proved to me that he was seeking revenge on the producers. When I watched the later episodes, I thought, what would posess anyone to walk around with big, curly, greasy hair? Big, curly, greasy hair looks good on some people, but definitely not on him. I felt that his motive was to "turn off" the female viewers. Most superficial girls only watch and like shows with hot guys. Girls wouldn't watch the Brady Bunch if they saw a lot of ugly people on the show. Greg felt that if he looked ugly enough, he could lower the Brady Bunch ratings and make the show end sooner.

Greg said that he would quit after the fifth season and the producers were happy to get rid of him. They decided that they would make an episode where they would kill him off. They were planning on making Greg die by eating poisionous lead from a pencil (Episode 109, Greg and the deadly pencil lead). The reason why we never saw the deadly pencil lead episode, is because Greg had done so much damage to the show that it was canceled after the fifth season. The producers were very angry with Greg for ruining the show. It was rumored that right after they made the last episode, Greg and the producers had a fist-fight. Greg left the studio screaming "Soon all of you will be under my control! I won't need to take orders from you simpletons anymore! Ha, Ha, Ha"

People are probably reading this page and thinking, "Geez this is a bunch of crap."  Well, it might be, but you have to admit, it does bring up some intresting questions of the past. So was Greg a stubborn idiot or a sweet responsible teenager? We may never know for sure, but you make your own decision based on these "facts" presented in this article.
