An Adventure in China II

Two friends went for another challenging, fruitful backpack trip,

it may be just over 11 days but

the memory of the experiences of China/Tibetan cultural shock,

the immense impact of Chinese history

and

unforgettable mountainous scenery

will last a lifetime.

China, the third largest country in the world, is bounded to the north by the deserts of Mongolia, to the west by the inhospitable Tibetan plateau and the Himalayan  is a vast country filled with rich cultural and natural scenery. From shop-till-you-drop metropolises to the epic grasslands of Inner Mongolia - with deserts, sacred peaks, astounding caves, and imperial ruins - it's a land of cultural and geographic schisms. It's a land of towering mountains and epic landscapes - background scenery to the fall of dynasties, the rise of emperors and the turning of the revolutionary wheel. China's 22 provinces and five autonomous regions are governed from Beijing

It’s all starts 2 years ago, when myself and a team of friends decide to learn more about the culture of Tibetan in China and exploring into the culture rich scenic land.

Refer to website for the routes which we cover in China dated 20th Oct 1999 – 8th Nov 1999, an adventure down the Tibetan culture and schools in China down from Ganzi to Sichuan.
