The author, Shaxx (not the real name) was born on 6th June 1968 in a general hospital at Kuala Lipis, Pahang. The year that people said full of events that shaped the world that we live in today... As Charles Dickens put it, "It was the best of times, it was the worst of times." Anyway, what could a baby know at that time...

Growing out in a small town, there was really nothing much to do or happen to the little boy. Many hours was spent playing at all over the Kuala Lipis town with friends. Other times, besides going to school and doing homeworks, were spent reading Beano and Dandy and watching Combat and Ultraman movies.

In 1974, Shaxx began his school life at a kindergarten. It was actually a methodist church and despite uneasy feelings and silent protests by some muslims, Shaxx still completed the pre-school and turned out to be a faithful believer of Islam. For the record, no religious subject was taught but only ABC and 123.

In 1975, Shaxx was enrolled in standard one at Sekolah Rendah Kebangsaan Clifford and spent 6 years of his life there. In 1981, having "graduated" from primary school, Shaxx spent 3 years at Sekolah Menengah Clifford. In 1983 he sat for the Sijil Rendah Pelajaran, Malaysia (SRP/PMR) where he passed with flying colors! In 1984, Shaxx was accepted into Sekolah Menengah Teknik, Kuantan, Pahang and this mark the first time that he would be away from Kuala Lipis.

In 1985 Shaxx took the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) and with the excellent result, he was offered a place at the KPP/ITM (College of Preparatory Studies and now known as PPP) in Shah Alam, Selangor in 1986. Here Shaxx successfully completed the TOEFL examination and was selected to join the Texas International Education Consortium (TIEC) program in late 1986 where he had to go through the first and second year of the US Universities programs.

Summer 1988 was a memorable date for Shaxx since it was the first time that he would leave Malaysia. Shaxx was accepted to the Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas, USA. Shaxx continued the 3rd and 4th year there and graduated in 1990 with a BSc in Industrial Engineering. Shortly after the convocation, Shaxx returned home to Malaysia.

Shaxx is currently working as a Consultant with one of the 'Big 5' international consulting firms in Kuala Lumpur. His specialties is in the ERP applications and systems.
