PRESENTS The first installment of Great Towns of America
Frankfort, Indiana has been brought to my attention for their celebration of the hot dog. The festival always occurs on the last Saturday in July, mark your calendars!! The citizens of Frankfort gather to celebrate the joy of hotdogs. The festival includes the Fido Texas Scramble Golf Tournament , a visit from the legendary Oscar Mayer Wienermobile, a "My Dog has Fleas" Flea Market, kids activities at Puppy Park, the Wiener Classic 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament, Mixed Mutts Tennis Tournament, the Pooch Parade, Bowser Bash Auto Extravaganza, Diggin' Dog Volleyball Tournament, and of course food booths open for serving of "a litter of dogsand a kennel of toppings." The staff at Friday Franks with Frank gives a big hot dog salute to Frankfort, Indiana for their wonderful sense of community and fondness for tube steak.
