Mathias was born in 1859.
He also left for America, and stayed there approx. 10 years. He came
probably back the fall of 1897. He married Berta Oline Reiarsdtr.
(1873-1908) from Åsbu in Sveio. Together they got 7 children.
Mathias moved back to the Kallevik farm the summer of 1899. They
took over the homestead of Mathias, which had been treated for a while.
His wife, Berta, died in 1908 when she borned the twins Johanne and Marie. Mathias himself died in 1925. His sons, Mathias (1899-1987) and Reidar (1902-1995), took over the homestead. Mathias runned the farm whit some fishing while his brother Reidar immigrated to America in 1925. Today it's the sons of "Matihas the 3rd.", Mathias (borned 1923) and Johannes (borned 1925) who ownes the farm today. That means Mathias # 4 in the row of owners and runners. |
