Welcome to our unofficial webpage. This site was designed to promote our unit and to acknowledge all the hard work we do to ensure top quality veteran healthcare.
This site is dedicated to all the hardworking nurses who take the extra time to do the "little things' that sometimes go unnoticed. To the ones that sacrifice, give, offer, and assist others in making this a more enjoyable workplace...our hats are off to you! We specialize in caring for surgical and medical conditions ranging from AAA repairs, lobectomies, colectomies, RND's, to ETOH withdrawal, GIB's and pneumonia. Our patients are primarily geriatric patients but vary from Gulf War to WW1 veteran age groups.
We are pleased to announce that along with the new Millenium the unit had a multimillion dollar facelift. Now we have state of the art monitoring and computer networks and recently converted to total patient electronic charting.
In addition, we have a very skilled and bright nurse manager named Ava Gardner. She has the positive attitude, warm smile, and skilled repertoire that brings sunshine and good will to all who come into contact with her.
