Group is met on arrival at Johannesburg International Airport. Depart by luxury motor-coach for Vryburg, in the heart of the South African Texas. Visit vegetable canning and freezing factory. Overnight at game farm.

Visit cattle farm in the morning. Afternoon drive to Hartswater and Jan Kempdorp to visit the Vaalharts irrigation scheme established in 1948. The drive along this great irrigation scheme is like crossing a vast garden, miles long and occupying 4 00 000ha.

After breakfast depart to a farm in the district where we will experience the farm life of the area. View a farm school for the farm workers, chicken farming and maize growing.

Depart for Christiana where we will visit Beefmasters feeding paddock. Here some 40 000 herd of cattle and 20 000 sheep are fed daily. We are taken for a guided tour of the feeding paddock. Depart for Kimberley, the city of diamonds. Overnight Kimberley.

Visit Open Mine Museum, biggest man made hole in the world and alluvial diggings. Dig your own diamond. Visit diamond dealer and manufacturing jeweler. Leave late afternoon for Bloemfontein, capital city of the Free State Province.

Visit agricultural faculty of the Free State University. This is the largest training establishment for agriculturists in South Africa. In the afternoon you have an option of joining the city tour or spending the afternoon at leisure. Leave late afternoon for game farm and game drive.

Leave for a visit to a sheep farm in typical sheeping country. Spend the day in the Southern Free State. Overnight at Gariepdam, the biggest dam in South Africa.

Leave early for the long drive to Cape Town. On the way we will pass vast sheep farms until we get near Cape Town where we will find vineyards and fruit orchards.

After your long drive yesterday we will go sightseeing in the fairest Cape of them all. Cape Town is world renowned for its beauty and it will not disappoint you. Visit Hout Bay as well as the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront.

Depart for Stellenbosch wine farms, Elsenburg, Agricultural College and various wine producing farms in the Paarl region. A day you will never forget is promised.

Visit Worcester, home of this fruit growing area and the setting for our visit to the unique open-air agricultural museum at Kleinplasie. This is a living museum with people practising the old arts and crafts of days gone by. Travel to Tulbagh for sherry tasting at Drostdy (old magistrates residence). Return to Cape Town via the picturesque Bainskloof pass.
