In the Beginning was the Word

The written word is an under-rated, marvelous medium. As a young boy, I voraciously devoured book after book—each one transporting me to a new and wonderful world. I own perhaps three hundred books, although I've never gotten around to cataloguing them as I did my music collection. Some nights, I desire nothing more than a fine glass of wine, a good book, and music playing on the stereo.

In addition to my enjoyment of reading, I have been known to dabble in writing. Nothing published or even impressive. Just a short story there, a poem here.
