A few km to the south of Monte Zuma, there is a beautiful Nature Reserve called Reserva Absoluta Cabo Blanco. This beautiful reserve encompasses 1172 hectares and includes the entire southern tip of the Península de Nicoya. The reserve preserves an evergreen forest, a couple of attractive beaches, and a host of birds and animals.
