Nancy and I flew from Taiwan to Hong Kong for a few days. We stayed at the YMCA in Kowloon and got free upgrades to suites - had a great view of the harbor, but it was foggy. The main thing Hong Kong has to offer is shopping. We went to a few areas around us and to the main island looking around. Checked out a couple parks. One of the days we took a ferry to the country of Macau (attached to mainland China). It was under Portuguese rule for quite a while so you see it in the architecture and naming...very odd to see in China.
