Hurricane Mitch at Catagory 5 status, 26 October 1998.

I have really gotten in to tracking hurricanes lately. At one point in 1998 there were four active hurricanes at once (Georges, Ivan, Karl, and Jeanne). Georges reached Cat. 4 status before striking Hispaniola and Mitch was the most powerful storm to develop in the Carribean in years. At its stongest, Mitch had a central pressure of 905mb - equal to that of Hurricane Camille in 1968 (though winds were not quite as strong.
