Panama is the best kept travel secret in Latin America. It has more biodiversity than Costa Rica; a greater variety of facinating indigenous native people than Guatemala; the most cosmopolitan capital city in Central America; the Panama Canal, one of the world's engineering and scenic wonders: and , very few tourists------for the moment.
On the surf island there are wild monkeys and hundreds of species of birds. There are even deer on the island.
Horseback riding is also available to explore all parts of the island.
besides surfing, diving, fishing, relaxing, eating; there's is river rafting not far away in the local mountains inland.
