The Mad River House gets its name for being located in the White Mountains of New Hampshire and built along the Mad River. The house was constructed in 1962 by Susan's grandparents where they invited family and friends to enjoy relaxing weekends and holidays. Susan and I acquired the house in 1996 and have continued the tradition that Howard and Mary started so many years before. We both enjoy the outdoors and plan to post our hiking reports as we continually explore the White Mountains so well preserved by the White Mountain National Forest.
