We are Nola and Graham Daniell, and we have our home in Perth, Western Australia. We have three children, Joshua, Christopher and Michael, aged 8, 7 and 5 years when we began our trip.
This is the story of our trip of a lifetime - our Grand Tour of the United States of America. The background, how we planned it, financing the trip, where we went, what we saw, and how much it cost. It is based on our diaries and our letters complied while on the journey, and is primarily a personal account of one of the most enjoyable times of our lives. But we hope that you will also benefit from our account, either in planning your own travels, or simply in reading our story.
