The Glasshouse Mountains (Queensland) from the Wild Horse Hill overlook- one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen. The mountains are remnant volcanoes - actually, the inner plugs to the volcanoes - the outsides of each volcano have been eroded away. This may be what the Cascades in the USA will look like in 100 million years...
